A server-based, anti-spam product that is compatible with multiple mail transfer agents and interfaces with virtually all e-mail clients, including Outlook, Mozilla, Eudora and Lotus Notes. Also supports the LDAP standard to seamlessly import existing users from Exchange Active Directory and Novell eDirectory mail server environments.

Heuristics and statistical Bayesian algorithms detect, identify, isolate and/or delete spam, viruses, worms and phishing attacks. Spam detection, containment and administration can take place at the server, company, domain, user and sender levels. An Offensive Word List (OWL) filters out e-mail containing offensive language.

Other features include periodic user notification of newly quarantined messages; private accounts via a web-based interface for both the end user and system administrator to manage quarantined mail; and it offers integrated anti-virus protection, or optionally, can interface with other anti-virus products via an API.
