CREDANT Mobile Guardian combines on-device security and centrally managed policy administration in a unified architecture that leverages existing IT infrastructures and investments.

Using a browser interface, authorized administrators can create, delete, modify and publish security policies and usability functions by user, organization or group and across a variety of mobile operating systems. With integration to an LDAP directory service, organizations can leverage already existing user information to establish group profiles when managing mobile users. Security software, encryption keys and security policies are automatically distributed to each device. The software also automatically recognizes and dynamically updates security policies providing real time compliance management.

On-device security, such as mandatory access control, user authorization and encryption algorithms enforce security policies whether the device is in a connected or disconnected state. The product also supports security policies that address user privileges such as controlling the use of beaming, limiting external network communications or even restricting the applications a user can run.

Reducing the risk of inadvertent or malicious synchronization, CREDANT Mobile Guardian performs component-to-component verification before allowing synchronization activity.
