Centralized Active Directory Type Controls to Protect Your Network

CrossTec Secure prevents users from deleting critical files and applications, making unauthorized changes to the desktop or system, saving or using unauthorized programs, using USB of CD drives, and harming the operating system. CrossTec Secure allows you to control how your users can interact with PCs.

While CrossTec Secure is designed for organizations who do not use Windows Active Directory, the vendor notes that it can also provide additional functionality to those who do.

- Using CrossTec Secure, IT administrators can prevent unwanted changes to the OS, Desktop, task bars and more. CrossTec Secure Prevents access to windows systems tools and can lock control panels, task manager, command prompt and registry

- CrossTec Secure lets you control the creation of content and restrict unwanted file downloads

- Control the use of unwanted, unauthorized, or potentially harmful and illegal application use. Lock down Internet usage

- CrossTec Secure allows devices (such as USB and CD / DVD ROM drives) to still be utilized, but in a manner with controls over functionality such as read only, no application launching and more
